Cannot log in at present?

I am currently trying to login to Second Life repeatedly, after an odd incident in which the sun changed from night to day suddenly (and I didn't Force Daylight  ). It doesn't seem to be working, and I am either stuck at "Preparing Inventory" it seems -- I've tried to resset to other locations. Anyone else experiencing such a problem? |

Yes, Torley. I'm experiencing the same problem. It has happened to me before. Perhaps lot's of people are trying to log in at once??? :  ighs:: |

i can log in but every so often the screen freezes for 3 minutes
anyone else have this problem

Yup. Same here. Had to repeatedly log in until it finally made a connection. Strange lag pockets in some parts of the grid -- definitely something going on.

Finally got in, but every now and then everything "stutters" and the bandwith is all over the place - seems like something is definitely going on.
Hope they get it all fixed soon - maybe that's why the town hall was postponed. Wouldn't be a good thing to be talking about the Technology Aspects of SL in a town hall with the grid acting up like it is tonight.

My impression is that there was an asset server issue, since, for me, login was blocking at "Preparing Inventory".
