Ok. I missed 1.4. I was here when it was released, and then I stopped coming into the world. I missed the snow-sim release, the animation craze, yadda yadda.

I keep hearing that snow land is less valuable than other kinds of land.

Why?

I don't know if it's less valuable or not, but if it is, one reason may be lack of telehubs. I have to cross way too many sims to get from the nearest telehub to my land in Afton. To complicate things, tall builds rez in my flight path and I end up trapped in other people's builds. Very annoying. :(

All the people that wanted to live in the snow got to live in the snow.

Then they released another block of 20 snow sims.

Then they released another block of 20 snow sims.

My first land in Isere (PG) cost me about L$10/m2.

The last land I bought in the Sim was going for L$4.5/m2 - and that's after a telehub appeared in the middle of the next door Sim.

Good thing I'm not planning on moving!

As long as you only want 512m2 or so in PG, you can get it for under L$3/m2 right now in many places. This is the time to get that little cabin or chateau you've been promising yourself. (Not a commercial, I have far less snow for sale than *ahem* others do)
