This may sound strange, but I know it's possible to get addicted to sugar, and I think I may just have done it. I seem to just eat sweets more and more, and instead of getting that normal high (jitters and excitement) I just go straight to the sugar low. Soo... any tips for getting off of sugar?

Ketamine or maybe oxycontin or just some good old crack

Marijuana is safer than sugar, but tends to lead to the consumption of sugar, so maybe not a good substitute ;P

As with any addiction, if you can associate something negative with it, you can eventually tame it.

Maybe try reading some WWIIolers posts the next time you eat something sweet?

Sorry, this hasn't been all that helpful.

...some Stevia?

or maybe Thaumatin? (go to third paragraph, starting with, "A few examples...";)

maybe all you need is a stronger fix? and these may be your answer.. :D

It's the same way that works for any addiction. You stop doing it.

Cybin,

LOL. Read that - and saw that the Korean company "Lucky Biotech" owns the patent on Thaumatin production in the US.

I have to say, "Lucky" is not a term I like applied to my biotech. I'd be much happier with, say, "Doesn't Rely On Luck Biotech!"

Anotherone for Engrish.com?

I misread that as "Lucky Biotch" and thought, "There's a pharmaceutical company called 'Lucky Biotch'? Wha? Some Koreans into gangsta rap started a drug company?"

Is it the weekend yet?

You've gotta be kidding. I've been eating sugar all my life and I dont remember any particular feeling of high or low. These days I dont eat that many sweets though.
I hear its part of growing up :)

No, I've already checked that out. No symtoms of diabetes.
