The Indian Ocean Earthquake reportedly was so powerful that it increased the speed of the earth's rotation. From now on, our day/night cycle will be 3 microseconds shorter. Islands near the epicenter are reported to have shifted their position by as much as 96 feet. Major websites, such as google, yahoo, amazon and apple, are adding relief links to their front page. Please donate even if it's a single dollar. Due to the difference between your economy and theirs, one dollar is enough to keep a person fed for a day. Reuters is reporting that the official death count is now at 77,828 and could reach 100,000, and there are as many as 5 million people needing urgent help. The death count could be much higher: if they cant bury all the corpses in time, epidemics could spread across the entire region. http://reuters.com

I'd like to vouch for Doctors Without Borders, or the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) as it's known internationally. They've been around forever and do good work, and from what I can hear, the medical issues following the disaster are going to be almost insurmountable.
Anyway, I'm going to donate to them.

The island of Borneo shifted 100 feet to the north!!! That is absolutely astonishing to think that an island like Borneo can be moved a third the length of a football field in such a short amount of time! Mind blowing!

According to reuters, the death toll has risen above 120,000... and there's still some 40,000 people missing.
