In a followup story they mention the main child's name was Damien.. he was accomanied by a huge f*cking rotwieller, and the teacher had just hung herself.

Hehehehe. Funny you mention The Omen, I just saw an interview today with the director (Richard Donner) and he explained how they picked Damien (Harvey Stevens). It seems Donner and crew went to Damien's school, and upon asking the boy a question, Donner was punched squarely in the nuts by the lil bastard! LOL! I bet that's the first time an actor was picked for that reason!

...And maybe Michael Badnarik will rise up from forth place and win. It would be nice to see the government stop taking away my liberties and my money just to add more and more layers to itself, like clothing, until the bottom layers start to rot away.

But children value their security blankets more than their freedoms. Someday the average mental state of this country will reach the teenage years and ask for the car keys. Till then, prepare to be swaddled because both Kerry and Bush are applying for the job of Nanny.

(And Nader is a [high-profile] crackpot.)
