it scared me when I read they use MySql for database. I used to be DBA, for goodness sake, why use a freebie database? Is Linden Labs that cheap? Oracle has great new grid technology that would work so well with SL. Even MS SQL Server would be better. Linden hire me to migrate you to a real database.

There is nothing wrong with free programs  Dont worry people have been slapping them for using mysql for some time but at this time it seems for them it is the best choice. they are looking into improving it. So not much else to be said.
