I am looking for an area where shooting is allowed.

There's damage-enabled forest in Igbo. But no build. So I don't see how I can possibly lure an unsuspecting SLer over there, shoot them, and take their wallet. I'd like to offically call the Linden's attention to this so that they may rectify the situation.

I'd recommen 'Jessie' , cause it's know for it's PVP..
And i'm sure you'll bump into someone who wants to 'duel' Just be armed and ready when you fly to Jessie....cause those nasty people have fast fingers tho... I got shot once by a monkey with a seburo...while i was flying over Jessie. So i guess it's pretty crowded there...and there's always someone waiting to shoot someone there. |

There are few places to go to shoot things. If you're looking for target-practice fun, there's the shooting range near welcome area, Planet Mars has his own nifty shooting range, and there's the Seburo shooting range in Chartreuse.
(The Seburo shooting range looks great, but isn't really fun. There's a nice bullet-hole effect when you shoot the targets, though.) As for PvP action, what I usually do is mosey on over to Jessie/Rausch, and ask if anyone wants to play in a gunfight. We usually end up going over to Rausch for a few rounds of heads-up no-fly dueling in a lag-free zone. (Sometimes I'm lazy, and I'll just ask the nearest soul in a damage-zone to kindly stand still while I shoot them - it's for research, you see.) Something coming up very soon on the horizon is the Unreal SL project from the folks at Bedazzle. (http://bedazzle.grfx.at/) I'm working with them to integrate the Seburo Compact-eXploder with their proprietary damage system, as well as develop a few new goodies I've seen the builds-in-progress and it really looks fantastic _____________________
