OK.. so, I've been working on a project, Space Needle, and now I'm on the hunt for a plot of land to set it down on. As this tower is over 90m, I figured I would post this to put it out there that the tower needs a home. I would like to find a plot on the edge of water, with lots of good views. The build is somewhat prim heavy (for its footprint), but this is meant to be a short lived deal (as the tax is gonna run me over $1200/week). I would need a plot at least 25x25m. I'll keep the tower up in the Cordova so that all can see it until it actually gets built in its new home. Oh ya... donations are welcome to help support this!  |

Whoa man you got some skillz!! Here is an idea for the next project, make the SkyCity 1000 Project. I posted the idea back in the old beta days on these forums. It is currently in contruction now from what I saw on a builing show on the Discovery Channel. Here is some pics of the idea.  When the are done with this project in japan I plan on going down their just to see it with my own 2 eyes. Just my 2 cents of an idea, as what you have accomplish from the Space Needel Project. Again, amazing work!!

This is precisely the quality of build I wish I would see going up, sadly the current policies make it so expensive to do so. Maybe all the good stuff will end up re-rezzing in Cordova every night, a virtual 'ghost town', as it were.
Good work, I really like the symmetry and graceful curve supports.

Do you have an elevator? I can make one for you! For those few who saw my glass elevator (3 floors) in beta! that woudl be really cool to make it for that needle thingy! When ever I get back in... i'll look around for it!

Thanks Loki! Thanks Maxx! The Sky Needle has a home now.. thanks to a generous land grant by Loki! The tower is still not quite finished, but you can check it out in it's new (temporary) home: Minna 233,121 Nexus... I'll IM you IW re: the elevator! There will be a voting box and a donation box.. please use them!  Also.... be sure to thank Loki for his land grant.. and please, dwell a little! |
