Hi, all.

Not sure if this is the right forum but Land and the Economy didn't seem right either. Anyway... here's my Q.

In a private sim, is there a way to give one group access to the management tools while making another group able to have access, to build and such, so that their things are not returned if auto return is on?

If that's not clear enough, please let me know and I'll see if I can rephrase.

Thanks ;)

Your best bet is to set up only one group, with the "land managers" from the first group being officers and the "land users" from the second group being members. You can deed the land to one group only, so this way you give access to the land menu to all officers, while still allowing the members to build there and escape the autoreturn ;)

Thanks, Jesrad :)

Ok.another question...

Is there anyway to set it so dwell is not paid to the whole group but only the sim owner? I don't own the sim in question but I would hate to see the own lose his L's.

Thanks again,

Unfortunately not. If the land is deeded to a group, the dwell gets shared between all in that group.

It's also worth pointing out that altho Officers of the group that the land is deeded to have access to the plot features, only the owner will ever have access to the estate tools.

Thank you, Hiro

That's what we figured, unfortunately. I did know about the estate tools part though. Would be scary if all officers were able to access those!!

Have a great day :)
