You see, our experts describe you as an appallingly dull fellow, unimaginative, timid, lacking in initiative, spineless, easily dominated, no sense of humour, tedious company and irrepressibly drab and awful. And whereas in most professions these would be considerable drawbacks, in chartered accountancy they are a positive boon.

I'm so sorry Briarcliff is being sold. It was a beautiful shopping area.

*sniff sniff*

That reminded me of the Seinfeld finale for some reason.

Nice tribute, splat1!

i too will miss briarcliff and enjoyed having a vendor there, however briefly.

and while I can't say I'm in love with Christo's gates in RL (does add a splash of color to my morning walk to subway), I do love than Lex and Feniks have put them up in Briarcliff. For some reason, they look much better in SL than RL.

But then i always see SL through rose-colored glasses. :D

I'm sad to see it go, but the memory will live on. If anyone has any photos or stories from Briar they want to share, Please IM me... I'm going to be adding a tribute to Briarcliff Manor in the TLC InfoNet.

I remember hanging out in Briarcliff last summer, when it popped up.
A project only really dies if you let it be forgotten.
Why not write up an article about it for the history wiki?

I'd feel bad if i didn't post to this. I've been a resident of briar since week 1. It's been fun while it lasted. There has been no greater community than Briarcliff. Everyone knew everyone and the fun never stopped. I'll miss all the shops, and how all them changed except Anime Cosplay (though as Feniks said we needed a upgrade ^_^). The most important part of Briarcliff was the community not the land. Though we will always miss our home, we will still be a commuity, still be the village of Briarcliff Manor. And that is one thing, no one can take from us.

Excellent tribute splat :)

I must admit I never visited Briarclliff before yesterday, but it seems like you were all a very close community.

I wish you all the best and great times continueing. :)
