The End of an Age...

The end of an age.

One year agon Pahoa Jade and Myself started a business in world. We struggled and fought against several problimatic odds such as Drama/and initial learning experiences of both SL and our paint programs.

Last Night we Packed up our operations in Lusk closing down Jazzy and Jade Wolf two long time unchanging storefronts in Lusk. Our builds such as our garden and the big purple dragon are now gone and the Hex shaped Cottage that adorned our Landscape.

It was a sentimental moment as Lusk had been our home for over a year. The new owners are Eltee and the Luskwood group they seemed very excited to gain the land. However, slightly saddend for the memories shared there we are cheerful in our new endeavors that we are working towards.

2005 is a new year and new beginings on all fronts for Jade Wolf and its partners.

For those that helped us learn and grow and build over the past year I want to thank you.

For those that opposed us over the past year I forgive you.

For those that stood mesmerised in awe of the dragon or anything we had built there look forward to new things that will emerge over the next few months.

As Jan 13 approaches I am looking foward to yet a 3rd year in SL.

May all my friends have a Merry Christmas and a Joyious New year.

May all my enemies wake up and realise that grieviences over trival BS is not worth the stupidity of stress and revenge.

(and don't worry the silly build thats up in its place now is jus a sorta joke taken to the extreme at 3am space filler, we didn wanna see that land jus sit empty, its somethin that'll tide through the holidays and then make way for somethin new... what.. we don't know yet)

Schwan, partner there is no need to be sorry there is no remorse in our decision it was just a time to move forward and let go of the past.

Hanging on the Lusk was a symbol of trying to cling on to the SL of old but with things moving ever forward last nights Closing down of Lusk was merely a epoch of things to come for the Jade Wolf Crew.

We were there for a year almost a stead fast unchanging monument to SL at one point in time.

Jade Wolf and Jazzy served their purposes in Lusk. However, like a Wolf pack this is the season for us to move forward with new adventures. The opening of Silver Wolf and the Closing of Jade Wolf was a Chapter closed in this world of Second life. Jade Wolf is not dead but merely in hibernation.

I do want to thank my partners, Pahoa Jade and Crimson Sunchaser, two true friends that have taught me the meaning of true friendship and what real friends do. Also want to thank Bird Fever and Libby Smith we miss both of them and hope they return soon from their hiatus.

Real friends don't play drama. Real friends no matter how big an ass you are still care. Real friends are just that Real friends. But Jade Wolf is more of a Family than it is a Group.
Some Play SL to gain riches and gold(figurativly of course) but instead Jade Wolf has grown and emerged into a family of friends. As Familys grow so must their homes.

So don't be sad that Jade Wolf is gone just patiently await the next growth to see what we can come up with next.

I dont get to the Forums very often lately. so I am a little late in adding my sentiments to this thread.

I'd like to echo Shads Thanks to all who have supported us since we first opened Jade Wolf in Lusk.

I also had a few more bittersweet moments as we dismantled the store. Bird, Libby and I first came to Lusk from Boardman in the form of Jazzy Shop and Get Out a couple months before we joined forces with Shad and also built Jade Wolf.

The 3 of us had played TSO together for over a year when Bird and Libby dragged me into SL kicking and screaming LOL. Thank you guys, I'm so glad you did.
We swore we would never leave Boardman, especially Bird.

So it took some planning but Lib and I did it. We started with a small plot in Lusk and moved our garden there. I still have a picture of the 3 of us sitting on top of Links unfinished house where Jade Wolf would one day sit. Looking across the bay at the garden, we were convincing Bird it would be a great place to Build jazzy and we could put the garden on the roof.

Well needless to say, we grew in many ways during our time in Lusk. But as Shad said it was time to move on.

Thank you Shad for all the kind words. I agree we are a family.
Thank you for all I have learned form you, all the support thru thick and thin.

Crim, thank you for the big part you play in keeping the game going for us. If it wasnt for you I would be working way too much. Thank you for all you've done, your support and guidence is invaluable. We did good on Silver Wolf, a build to be proud of

Bird and Lib, thanks for always being there. I couldn't ask for better family, you both have taught me so much. We miss you dearly and hope you both will be back with us on a regular basis soon.

Thank you to all who have helped us grow and improve along the way.
And to our dear friends who have been there to help "just because". There are so many of you, I thank you all!
