This map shows the location of the signs for each parcel of land being auctioned in Magenta. It doesn't show the outlines of each parcel, but you can see those outlines in-world by right-clicking the ground near the sign. Generally the closer-together parcels are smaller, as are higher-numbered ones (1-8 are the big ones).

Some of the markers seem to be in the wrong places........

This is something LL should be doing as part of the land auctions. If I am going to bid on something, I would like to know where exactly it is positioned on a map of the sim.

I have no use for this, or know if its correct, but it was nice of you to do. :)

And I agree an arial map should have been somehow provided.

Lindens.. .please take note:

a map with property lines, m2, and prim figures for each plot would be *very* nice in the future. not everyone can hop on SL during the day.. some of us only get to scan the forums during the day.

regardless... a map should be included when a sim comes up for auction.

And even for those of us who can get into SL, it can be difficult to visualize the shapes and sizes of the plots being auctioned off.

Improved Map :)

I will not do this next time Because I KNOW that someone who has access to the raw data will do this for us - ...

Thank you!

I do wish parcel Magenta 11 were 80 square meters smaller. :(

Well done, I've just made this point in my post on Land Auctions Viewing, now i see you'e made a map which I agree the Lindens should be providing properly with all auctions. Thanks for this.

This would be at least partially automatable if we had llGetLandName() and llGetLandDescription() functions.

- gather data by scanning a sim one block at a time
- export it via llEmail()
- run that through a program to draw vectors
- overlay that vector image onto a picture of the land

Gimme more info-gathering LSL functions! =D
