This has now happened to me a few times so im gonna post in here and see if it's just me or other have expericanced this.

Ok a few weeks ok i changed the top i was wearing and when i put on the new top my arms turned black. I reloged, same, i tped, same.??? I thought maybe it was the shirt, cause it was given to me, (wet tee) and maybe it was poorly made in photo shop. I took off the shirt and put the orginal back on and i was fine. Problem solved?? not quite. A few days later this happened again with a differant shirt. One i had worn several times with no problems. Tped, nothing, reloged nothing. LoL well just now it's happened for a 3rd time, differant shirt i JUST bought.

So anyone else have this issue?

Sydney, this the only piece of your clothing in your wardrobe that changes like this? Try this quick test: if modify permissions are enabled, try retinting the shirt subtlely (default would usually be white, but set it a little darker) saving the changes, and going about your business. See what happens then. :)

I triend going in and out of apperance mode, the black goes away as long as im in apperance, when i x out they come back.

And i asked ppl around they can also see the black arms

It sounds weird, what I just said, Sydney -- but I had a similar problem and this fixed it. I don't understand the mechanism behind how it worked, only that it did work somehow. And turning the tint color back to the default kept it the same. Give it a try at least? :)

well char linden gave me some helpful info:

Char Linden: it sounds like the black is just temporary download problems
Sydney Jacobs: ya i guess, but strange cause besides the 3 times in the last week, thats never happened before
Char Linden: The way clothes work is a little different. Your client downloads all your clothing and tattoos, assembles them on your end, then sends the texture back to the server, where it's then relayed back to all the other clients.
Sydney Jacobs: hehe complicated
Char Linden: =) yeah, so if theres any bumps in the road/connection or bandwidth problems it can cause things to rez slowly
Char Linden: if its just spotty and not a problem all the time my guess is bandwidth
Char Linden: streaming audio is a bandwidth pig, when that happens you might want to turn it off and relog and see if it fixes your invis problem
Sydney Jacobs: funny you should mentin that cause it has always happned at a clb
Sydney Jacobs: club
Char Linden: there you go =)
Sydney Jacobs: lol ok tys char
