I'm new and I am having a hard time making my char look decent and I was wondering how you vet players do it so well?
It's not that I'm not trying its just I'm realy awful at it,so I was wondering if anyone had any tips or sugjestions on how to get my char looking okay.

Thanks for helping a n00b.

Take your time. Some of the really good looking avatars have taken hours to make, maybe weeks in some cases. There are a lot of sliders and you can make a lot of changes to your appearance. I would suggest clicking on the random button and scroll through some of the defaults. When you find one that sort of works for you, change it to make it uniquely you with all the sliders. And like I said, take your time. Once you get a look your happy with, click on the "make outfit" button and save your look into a folder so you will have it to wear later on if something goes wrong and you mess up your look.

There is also the avenue of buying an avatar. Not my preferred method.... but it is always an option.
