What's your Sim like?

What's been your experience in your Sim. I guess if you own land in multiple Sims just answer for how it was on the last Sim you've owned land in.

I've only been a recent land owner and just during the time I've had my little bit of earth it seems like I've run into a surprising number of the things people complain about on the forums. Now before I experienced it myself, I really thought I was seeing these types of gripes because you never hear from who's happy. Now I'm curious if I just got unlucky!

The funny thing is, even though I've experienced some of these things, they've tended to have happy endings and I still love my sim and enjoy spending time there - which makes it hard to imagine how much I'd love SL without the problems! ^_^;;

My Sim (Green) is seldom crowded, eclectic and fun.

Some of my fav neighbors have moved to private islands :( , but otherwise it's pretty cool :)

Our sim (Maui) is lag free, beautiful and full of nice people (I think it is only 4-5 owners).

I have never regretted paying what I paid for my property in it and will not sell it until I leave SL.

Paradise!

I just moved to Penrith and like it there so far. The entire sim has been sold, but most of the land has already been put up for resale. Only four people so far have decided to settle there, all nice folks. Just waiting to see what happens.

I have a club, a mall, and about 100 small scripted, physics enabled spheres in my sim. It's a joy!

Luckily, I also have beautiful builds and friends, and that makes it all worth it :)

my sim (Gray) has a few stores and homes, and the big Kazenojin tower and the original SL airfield, but is generally pretty quiet and lacking in massive builds, and that's why I love it. My particular plot has frontage right into the old Plum sandbox and it's like having a 6,000-acre front yard. ^^

I hope that someday the currently nonexistant sim to the west of Grey will become a void. :>

I am new in Blue but my neigbor is a fun of Stargate like me ^^! He even made one. When me and my friend make one that teleports to a specific sim he will be so envious ^^!

Plus I have been able to sell over fourty of my wands!

My sim(tenney) is great! About 90% residential, save for a few very small shops and one big club(?) that is always empty. The neighbors I have met seem nice, although my partner and I are usually the only ones that seem to spend time there.

Our sim is Taber, we love it there. We bought land there in October of 2003 when the Americana project in Blue folded. We didn't move there right away but put up an apartment house (Taber Mews Apartments). Our neighbors were already our friends, Jai Nomad and CrowCatcher Valen. We soon made friends with Taber old timer Siggy Romulus. We sold some of the land to Pendari Lorentz, Sinclair Valen, Bonecrusher Slate, Fleabite Beach and Khamon Fate who are still residents. We finally moved in permanently in just a year ago now. We have since bought FairChang Island for our Water Sports Center but consider Taber our home base.

My sim - Taber is usually quiet and peacefull... most nights (when I'm there) it's usually just me - when one of my neighbours do show up we usually sit down and catch up.. My home in SL is just that - a home - a place I go to relax and work on little projects.

Siggy.

I live in Uli which I love, even though it's on one of the old servers and occasionally gets laggy. My neighbours are great and I'm happy.

The Slate SIM, also known as the SLATE COMMUNITY, is one of the oldest Community SIMS in all of SL.

Slate I believe was one of the original expansion SIMS, and everyone that has settled there, did so because we were all friends.

The Slate Community is much more then just SL avatars, instead we are friends, not just in-world, but outside these avatars tool We care deeply for one another, and aren't afraid to show it.

We also share a love of Creativity, hence the reason for our latest change, Red River City.

I can only say, that if the SLATE SIM were in real life, and we all lived there in the real world, we would be the neighborhood that had cookouts every weekend, and everyone not only would be invited, but would always show up.

Davenport is pretty quiet, with mostly static builds: the Canyonlands gardens, Maxx Monde's skyscraper, and a corner of the volcano. There was a small club next to my land for a while, but it never caused any trouble, and it's been taken down recently. It remains to be seen how the Mushroom Kingdom will affect things.

My sim is Clara, bordering on Perry. At the moment I am very lucky. Behind me I have very attractive builds by Teeny Leviathan and Belphoy Phillips. In front the area which was raised from the wide waterway contains nothing more offensive than some very large Luskwood trees. And beside me, the enormous plywood hangar that was there has been taken down, and the land has remained fallow for some time while the group who own it decide what they want to do with it.

So all in all I'm happy. :)

Varney here, which is my third sim in fact (I previously was in Kafiri, then Ebisu). Pretty lovely sim, great neighbors, the nice Pirates' Hideaway above our heads, and lots of asian-themed builds (our corner of the sim, 7 Samurai land...). A little paradise ;)
