DarkLife is going into open beta this Saturday! Turn up and get your backpack for free and join in!
DarkLife is a roleplaying game like Diablo or EverQuest built right into the Second Life world. We're based in Navora and have an entire sim for you to enjoy. Swamp, castle and mines are thick with monters and nasties for you to battle. Learn magic, buy new weapons, potions and armor, team up with other players and even get into farming (coming soon) if that's your fancy.
To play you simply equip a DarkLife backpack and head out and fight monsters by clicking on them to start attacking. Of course, you will probably want weapons, shields and potions, all of which can be bought for a nominal L$ fee and some in-game gold.
We'll open up to all-comers Saturday afternoon US time and then set the site up so anyone can collect a backpack and play.
Note, when we launch all those with an open beta backpack will need to upgrade to a live version for a L$ cost. Got to pay our way after all!

Thanks babes! We couldn't have done it without ya.
We'll be having a working bee on Friday (US time) to get everything ship-shape for the final phase of testing.

I hope my hand is better by then... I have whatever Mark has I think... my right hand is numb... my pinky and ring finger to be exact... but I got a cushion thingie for my wrist and one of those "Smart Gloves" and it is slowly getting better... I wonder if SL has Workmans Comp Insurance? |

That sure sucks Sensual... You have the 'typical' form of RSI, that means a problem in your wrist (well a little bit higher on your arm) which pushes and/or damages the nerves to your hand... watch out with that kind of RSI because it could damage your nerves permanently!! Anyway this thread is about DarkLife and not about RSI  if you want to reply on RSI I've started a thread about that a few weeks ago |
