Its about time for me to take another vacation, just a short 3-5 day breather from life. I was thinking of going to london, anyone have any recommendations?

I'm headed to Barcelona just as soon as I can save up enough pennies. :)

Yeah. Bring a smog mask, protective head gear and don't keep much cash on you at any time. Oh, and don't wear nice trainers.

Well, heck. Come hang out in Austin, then! Little crime and SXSW is coming up in March. ;)

London? Ok, if you're going to London, be SURE to visit the Globe Theatre, and catch a Shakespearean comedy. Get "Groundling" seats, where you stand the whole time. I swear to god, it's worth it, since you can literally stand and lean against the edge of the stage, and during intermissions the actual players come down and joke with you and whatnot. You can't get a better view.

Standing at a play just to get someone to talk to me? Seems kind of shallow.

I actually thought it sounded like a pretty amazing experience. If I can ever get my butt over to the UK, count me in!

Dude. This is Shakespeare's GLOBE we're talking about. Built just a couple feet from the original location? Using as nearly an authentic construction as they could, with the only true deviation in construction being a water sprinkler system they hide rather well, since the roof is made of bloody THATCH.

It's SHAKESPEARE where Shakespeare was performed first! It's Shakespeare unlike anything you'll ever experience again. And you want to sit in a bloody seat that's as far from the action as possible?! You're -sick-.

I will try to hook it up so that my seat is on the stage.
