My favorite part of the article:

From: someone
Ashley Littlefield, 20, a junior at the University of Notre Dame (search) in Indiana — where sex is prohibited by the student code of conduct — sees some hypocrisy in anti-sex skivvies.

"The underwear line is the most illogical part of the whole [WaitWear Web] site. Shouldn't it read: 'If You Can Read This, I'm Probably Not Waiting Until Marriage?'" she said.

From: someone
"One day I woke up and realized: What type of example am I giving to my son? And I have to be an example," Thomas said. "I can't tell my son to abstain from sex if [I'm] not doing it [myself]."

She's quick, that one.

Seriously, there was no point in wasting all that precious cotton. :(

I'm sure they (whomever promotes abstinence) could have found a better way, or just stick to what they were doing before.

From: someone
Thomas, a practicing evangelical Christian and never-married mother of three, vowed in 1999 to remain abstinent until marriage. However, sticking to her commitment has not always been easy, and much of the inspiration for WaitWear came from her personal struggle with keeping her vow.

It's not like her abstinence slogans did much to help her stop her did they?

Which was: preventing the teaching of knowledge about sex and STDs, preventing the distribution of condoms in high schools. Just telling people they shouldn't have sex is the stupidest thing I ever heard of.

Something like 80 or 88% of kids who pledge to remain virgins until marriage have premarital sex. In addition, most of these kids have had oral sex, and men are 4 times more likely to have had anal sex. Way to go for not spreading disease!

These people (our President's one of 'em) seriously have something wrong with their brains. That woman really should have taken her own advice. It's these people that always have kids (thus propagating stupidity throughout the world). Great!

Sometimes the strongest statement is one never said!

So, what are the parodies for this gonna say? Oh wait, these could be construed as parodies of some undies that have come EARLIER. Ohmyes.
