Is there any? They wonder why bugs aren't being fixed. Did they think they're going to if Linden's are wasting their time answering the same question over and over? I think some general rules need to be as follows:
If you ABSOLUTELY know that no body in the rest of these forums will know the answer, then post to the Hotline. Newbies especially. Trust us. Most of us have been here for a while, know the ins and outs and are willing to help. You will probably get a lot more feedback if you post in anything but the Hotline.
IF, it's a technical problem that hinders your SL play, then you need to either call or email them. That's what they are going to tell you to do anyway.
Happy Posting,
HDC

This could probably be better solved by adding a simple widget to the crash logger. Picture shall follow. Edit: Picture supplied. Hopefully LL understands this is a mockup in the spirit of both having no affiliation with LL proper and giving a pictorial reference of what I feel it should look like. Please don't skewer me for using the logo. I would find that extremely helpful, with the option in "Preferences..." to shut it off. Furthermore, I feel many of us are grown up enough to have an "About..." section, which would bring up a more detailed explanation of why we crashed. It's a thought.

Yes, excellent idea!
It should open a window into the technical issues forum.

Developers can then measure which new concepts most improve the products and incorporate them into the game in future patches."

Great suggestion Jeffrey. You should post that image in the Feature Suggestions forum. I think something like that would be a huge help.
I noticed a particularly harsh thread in the 'Hotline' today. The person was obviously unhappy about certain errors on the part of LL and was accusing them of all sorts of nice things. What a putz, I thought to myself. I wish people would give them a little more of a break - it's not like they are sitting around playing WoW all day at the office.
