Questions about my account fees and land usage

im due to be charged today for my monthly account and land usage fees today, but i dont have the money in my bank account till thursday. Ive emailed SL twice and heard nothing, and im worried iam going to lose my land that i own, ive asked them if they can delay the payment till thursday. Has anyone esle had this problem ? its really worrying me. many thanks

i did , but i payed only one day late and contackted a linden inworld with anoteher account. emails harly seems to work.
took days til i got my account up again after they closed it for not paying but i did not lose my land. not sure what happens when it is longer then 1 day though

As far as i know when you stop paying your account goes dormant for a crertain period (maybe a month, dont remember exactly, but sure a month or more) and only after that period you loose your land and possessions. So a few days of delay won't hurt you too much. The only problem is that, as arwen sayd, in this kind of online environments it normally takes about a week to reactivate an expired account (only saw it done on other MMORPG, have no experience on SL), kind of an hassle, but better than loosing everything

You have (I think) a month to get the money in your account.

I know I was without money for about 26 days, and I never lost my land.
