Just wondered if there were any problems in logging in right now. I seem to be stuck at 'contacting user server' etc.. Pretty sure it isn't a stale DNS cache thing, I just booted.

Any survivors out there?

I was having some issues in-world as well. Maybe it was that particle system I was playing with...

Hey, try this..for winXP/2000 users, hop on the commandline, and type ipconfig /flushdns. Worked for me!

This happened to me a few times as well... but it finally passed through. Just seemed to take several minutes longer than norm.

I've also experienced more lock-ups the last two days than ever before. Once, I hadn't touched the keyboard, even. I logged in a went to fix a midnight snack away from the computer. When I got back, I had crashed again.

I've been having serious lag issues today, and freezing/crashing. I thought it was just me. Wherever I go it seems particularly bad.

Lag Problems! Yi!

Well, you're not alone in that, Gemini. I've been having some steady lag problems myself. Unfortunately, today was also my day to transfer out Lindens from my SL account to my GOM account. Due to the lag, I think the GOM ATM didn't realize I was sending to my account and treated it as a normal payment...

What's especially problematic about that is because it was 20K Lindens I was transferring. x_x Oi.

I'm getting the same problem now too. Long wait at Inventory, short stop at User server, then I'm back at the main screen wating for me to push a button. :/
