What do you think, if this scenario is at all possible, could it, and would it be a problem?

I purchase a slot for the Featured on e-bay. I decide not to use it, but to instead turn around and sell it in SL. I figure out a 10% profit (maybe higher, 20 slots... large demand?) to sell this for XX,XXXL$. I sell the L$ on GOM. Or, I could just sell it direct for USD$ at a higher profit margin. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

Instant Featured Baron anyone?

Non-Transferrable.

I would think the easy way around this would be to make the spots like a Classified Ad in the newspaper - one buy-in lasts for a limited time. And making it non-transferrable and only applicable to products or lands that the winning bidder OWNS eliminates the "profit-turning" aspect.

Plus, if they stagger the auctions, there will always be one or two going on - which means people will be more likely to try to bid on the auction for a cheaper price, than pay a "premium" for one someone's trying to sell. Though this is a moot point if my above thoughts turn out to be what's implemented.

Take care,
