Anybody know the site where you can convert sl cash into real cash?

There is also www.ige.com, which generally pays slightly higher than GOM, and also pays out more quickly.

They don't have all our good karma, though...

1) They are actually people that understands the english language (almost) perfectly in support
2) 2 Owners ( I think) that is close to thier customers
3) They ACTUALLY play the game
4) My run-in with attempting to use IGE *
5) We know who the CEO is

* Once apon a time around the Christmas Holidays Im short a few bucks and need it QUICK. So I use IGE, I fill in the form and they told me they would pay me 210 USD. I log in, 30 minutes later, IGE isnt on yet. I left an IM and payed the avatar. THREE(3) hours later I get an IM asking if im online (this is about 11 PM SL time) followed by a "You werent online" message.

Im mad at this point:
1) They have my money
2) I dont have my USD

I get on "Live Help" the next day. I WAITED 3 hours to get to a person (who couldnt understand anything im saying) and told me they will be on right now and closed the session. I get on, TWO hours later get an IM asking if im on AGAIN.

Review:
1)They have my money
2) I STILL dont have my USD

It took me 2 days (1 Day after Christmas) to get my money to send it out to relatives to get through to a guy that understood what I meant by "You have my money, I want the money you owe me".

I highly recommend GOM (www.gamingopenmarket.com). Having a market where buyers and sellers set the price of the L$ is invaluable.

Also, I've recently sold a small amount to Hank Ramos (www.HankRamos.com), and was very impressed by his service. His rate doesn't fluctuate with the market as GOM does (since GOM pretty much *is* the market), so you'll have to consider his rates for yourself, but his service is very fast, and if you're Canadian, you avoid currency conversion fees from PayPal.

Actually, if you're Canadian and have an account with one of the "Big-5" banks you can use Interac email payment to send and receive money to/from GOM. It's basically the same as PayPal (send to an email address), except that the funds are transferred directly between bank accounts with essentially instant resolution between financial institutions. We'll even give you TD's currently quoted exchange rate to USD when we process your deposit.

We don't heavily advertise Interac deposits since only a very small fraction of our users are Canadian and it's not currently able to be linked into our instant deposit system, but it is a great alternative to PayPal if you're able to use it. In fact, I'll try to post a message to our forums in the next couple of days to gauge interest and outline how to use Certapay for your GOM cash transactions.
