For all the teeth gnashing about how rough and tumble the forums are (oh sure, they can get heated), I don't think I have ONCE seen a thread where someone said "i am leaving" and countless people didn't rally to try to make the person feel better, solve their problem, and stay in world.
Sure there are the expected "don't let the door hit you" posts lobbed in but I find those to be well into the minority.
THAT phenomenon is intriguing to me.
So you forum-ites, you so-called meanies and knee-jerk posters, I hereby formally accuse you of being a bunch of nice softies.
Yeah, you try to hide behind the steel exterior and the iron spikes, but I can see the truth.
