So, I re-found a game from my childhood. Bubble Bobble! It was first an arcade game, then became a NES game. And I love it! I've had friends over to play, but they just don't "get it" the way they ought to. Me and my friend beat it today (after going through the warp portal in Lv99) and all that, only to find that I had forgot that there's a password for SUPER Bubble Bobble, which changes all your monsters into harder ones. !!! So, now we have to play it again! But I don't think anyone will... Who else loves Bubble Bobble?

great game! my sister and i used to play that one a bunch.. which is the reason why i have the theme music as a downloaded ringer on my cell-phone. and it's set so that the only time it's used is when my sister calls. there's a sequel or two as well, i believe. but yeah, i'm with ya.. awesome game!

Excellent game I played it a lot on my Atari 1040ST back in the day (ie ~15 years ago I think). I'd play it through with ya. They had a GB color version of it I think, though I don't think it was very good. I would love to get my hands on a GBA port of the game. I need something good to play on my GBA.

Woohoo, after much coaxing, we beat it again! And just so everyone knows, there IS a moral to the story when it comes to Bubble Bobble. And I quote:
HAPPY END CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE FOUND THE MOST IMPORTANT MAGIC IN THE WORLD IT IS LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP

I have a sick fetish for older games.
My SNES collection is pretty large and encompassing.
I have both models of Atari (2600 and the 5200)... including 2 brief cases filled with almost every game.
Bubble Bobble kix... and Puzzle Bobble was great too. Thanks for the trip.. I think I shall go play it to death now as well. lol.

Oooooh. Bubble Bobble. Now I've got a yen to ask my little brother to bring our SNES so I can have it. Unless he hocked it for Dr Pepper money, the little so-an'-so. But -- ooooooh. SNES next to my PS2! ^___^ Dude, I *loved* that game!
