Assume that you're just walking down the street and BAM! your head catches fire. Also assume you don't notice untill it's really burning hard. What would you do?

I would take off my shirt or pants and try to smother the flame, while running toward a near water source if there was one, if there wasn't one I'd go into a building and try to get to the sink in a bathroom.

Or, ask the closest person if they'd like to roast marshmellows.

I'd put a little more credence into spontanious human combustion.

I'd also try and put the fire out and ask the nearest person how my hair looked.

It did Happen Once...but it's embarrassing and I don't wanna tell how I put it out. Let's just say that it involved a jar of vaseline, a pork chop and a lava lamp, unplugged.

I don't walk down streets anymore since I started playing SL. In fact, I doubt I'd even notice that my head was on fire when playing SL. Well, maybe I would when I died, but I'm not certain of that, because I've never died from pyrocephalitis before. If it ever does happen, I'll post what happened as soon as possible.

Now, if it happened in SL, then I'm fairly certain that the first thing I'd do would be to say "Coolness!" Unless the fire texture really sucked. I don't know what I'd do then.

My hair has actually been on fire multiple times. That is really really sad. The time that applies here is when I had braids and was burning my ends (you do that so the braids won't come down). The braid just flared up, right in my face! All I could think of was the crap the shoved in our heads a thousand times as kids, Stop, Drop and Roll! So I tried to roll my head on my bed. Well, I burned my face near my eye doing that...Finally, I ran to the sink and put it out by running water on it. I was fine, just a small burn from putting my face in the fire...but I still kick myself for my stupidity.

What would you do if your head caught fire?
