Banned For 3 days and going up

Hi, I was banned in Second Life on October 8, 2004. For doing somthing Very Immature, and somthing what I wouldnt usually do, I suspect you would like to know why i did this, here it goes - I'm usually a very Placid Person but there where thes two people with a Melon gun and a SumoGun "yes i know my guns" and they Continuasly shot while hovering above, i got knocked, atleast three quarters across the SIM, i thought to my-self NO! this isnt right so i took out my gun and shot any one near my this went on for atleast 3 min the other two i suspect had left by now, but i didnt care they had given my lag a caused me to crash with all the Explosions! now to the point i was suspended from the game for (three days) from oct 8'th untill the 11'th, now when i go onto Second Life for an Update it says 2004-10-11 which is November, am i right? i would like to know why, i have explained my actions and i would also like to say sorry to whome i shot at.

2004-10-11 is October 11th. Month comes before day in the U.S.

Also rather than retaliating with equaly annoying weapons, Abuse Report the original people, you can go to Help - Abuse Report at the top of your screen.

While it might not be as stress reducing as shooting something, it won't get you suspended either.

Okay Easy Mistake, the main reason i posted this thread was to express my feelings i know it's only a game, but i think i've been unfairly banned, ill accept the consequence's for doing the action's but i dont want some kind of record on SL so i get a week next time (not that there is going to be a next time ) thank's and i would like some reply's on what other people think.

You admitted to shooting anyone around you for 3 minutes knowing that the two that shot you left. So you get shot by people for no reason and it pisses you off and you go and do the same thing to other innocent people. Seems very fair to me...act like an asshat get banned like an asshat.

Dude why is it such a mystery to you? You broke TOS when you retaliated. Your not going to get anymore of an explanation than that from Linden Lab. I am glad they suspended your ass. All we need is another pre-teen running around with a gun acting like a douche bag!

I am glad I ran into this thread. It seems justice does get served once in a while.

I am sure the other incidents you are talking about were no accident as you showed up uninvited a few days ago at one of my properties and proceeded to harass the people present. You were bounced and banned after politely being asked to put your weapons away.

With so many online games catering to combat, I still do not understand why people have to come in here and bother others that have no interest on that type of entertainment while on SL. If I feel like having some action I go online and play "Day of Defeat", "Medal of Honor", or "Doom 3".

I have a feeling these folks get their butts kicked all the time when going against an equally armed person in other online games, and then they come in here and take it out on unarmed civilians to feel a sense of accomplishment.

You basically shot a bunch of random people for no reason other than that you're obviously pretty immature.

As long as the apparent Assclown is serious in his/her endeavors then they cannot be claimed as an Assclown/Asshat. They must be refered to as an Idgit until the point that they actually try the same tactic again after failing the first time...then they can be claimed as an Assclown/Asshat/FuckTard


Its generally accepted in polite society that anyone pretending to choke at a party is a FuckTard whereas throwing up on the hostess's sofa is traditionally an Asshat/Assclown.

If someone in a band can't play the guitar but has enough common sense to play fast and loud ( AKA Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols ) then they can qualify for rock legend. If said guitar players claim to fame is being the lead guitar player for Poison then they are generally known as Poser Pussy Fucktard which is not to be confused with dweeby poser generally accepted as the lowest form of musician typically in a boy band. Any way you cut it no musician can be an Assclown/Asshat because they get all the women no matter how bad they suck.
