Have you noticed wanting to be in world more than the real world? Is it a sign for a break from SL??
Seems sometimes I let time get away from me in RL when playing SL. I can get involved in making things, chatting, or just flying around and poof its 3 hrs later. Seems SL can be just as addictive as drugs. Are there side effects, withdrawals?? Seems I may be somewhat addicted to SL.

Sometimes when I've been playing for a while, I'll feel a sense of timelessness, and look up and realize hours and hours have gone by. Every motion in SL is like I'm underwater, or in a lazy dream. In RL this is often due to "fun" but here it is called "lag".

Just like all on-line entertainment it can be used too much, sometimes to the exclusion of RL. Ever since a home computer bacame something MOST people have, we've been hearing tales of people losing themselves on-line and often becomming 'addicted'. It's a powwerful medium....I/we can be whomever I/we want on-line, or I/we can be more outgoing on-line. Often close friendships develop.

I found out yesterday that a certain (very good) John Wayne film had been shot in the "four corners" region (Utah etc.)

For just a moment, I was worried about getting screwed up if I went there and accidentally crossed over the four corners diagonally :/
