Many of our live public shows receive over two hundred audience members present at the same time in our 4-sim venue. On average: Hundreds of programmes are distributed inworld each month, and our website receives hundreds of thousands of hits per month. The following productions are currently available for play programme sponsorship:
Production Serial Number AP1 - “Twelfth Night: Act 1″: Our upcoming Shakespearean show is a full ensemble extravagant SL Shakespeare Company-style performance of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, one of the Bard’s most accessible and fun plays. The play is directed by SLSC Artistic Director Ina Centaur, with a cast of actors who spent the summer rehearsing with SLSC voice director and instructor Enniv Zarf. We want to remain true to the scripture of the greatest writer of all times, so we’re sticking with the full-length un-edited script - but we’re breaking it down into segments. We will present the entire Act 1 in our upcoming “Act Production #1 (AP1) - formerly known as Miniproduction #3″
+ November 2008 (Production Serial Number: AP1): We will have a preview miniseason opening on November 13. There will be at least four or five live shows schedule for this miniseason. SPECIAL: Order by 10 AM SLT on Nov 15, 2008 to receive complimentary placement in programmes for our future productions of Twelfth Night!
+ Late February 2009 (Production Serial Number: AP1): Returning from our winter hiatus, and opening before the RL Globe Theatre returns from theirs, we will have ten shows scheduled to open in February. (These will be followed by AP2 or Act 2 of Twelfth Night in April. Sponsorship details for this latter miniproduction will be available in early 2009.)
January 2009 (Production Serial Number: CP1): We are planning on invoking the age-old RL Broadway tradition of indefinite open-ended runs with our Challenge Production of our first modern play - Mike Dederian’s One’s A Pawn of Time, directed by Prospero Frobozz (RL: Rob Knop), and starring some of our favorite actors (sometimes with spontaneous director cameo’s). It’d start in January and last for at least three months, with a performance each week.
Both productions are roughly 30 minutes long in content, each, generally with an opening introduction and closing spiel, totaling about one hour. Please note that fees are accessed per production serial number, as the same programme would be used for each production.
