Yep, you heard me... If you have something you need scripted, I'll do it for free.

Why would I do this? Well, a few reasons... I'm relatively new to SL, so I'm not a LSL scripting veteran. I think it would be nice to give back to the community. I'm looking for learning opportunities. I'd like to network and get my name out there.

Just a bit about myself and my skills...
In RL I've been programming in C/C++ for 10+ years. I'm well versed in Java, C#, Visual Basic, XML/REST/RPC (and other various web technologies). I use to be actively involved in the Unreal Tournament scripting community, so I'm use to working with scripting languages for games.

I've already have a pretty good understanding of the LSL particle engine, chat, menu interaction, physics, etc. I have yet to toy with vehicles, though I'd be willing to try. I am still learning my way around all the library functions and constants, so I imagine I'd take a bit longer to complete things than someone whose been doing LSL for a year or two (I've only been in SL a month).

I would prefer you try not to request anything of massive proportions. However, feel free to drop me a line regarding any projects you are working on and we can talk. Maybe if I am interested enough I'll help. Keep in mind that if I get too many requests I may not be able to help everyone. It's more of a first come first serve basis, and I would tend to give preference to things that interest me as well as non-commercial endeavors. I'd like to help out people that are doing creative things. Just chat me up in-game and we can always talk details.

Thanks! Looking forward to hearing from people.

Scott

P.S. During the week, I am typically "in-world" sometime between 3pm and 10pm slt.
