A lot of talk on the forum lately has focused on the split between those who look forward to the integration of real time speech to SL and those who see its arrival as a hinderance to communication.

The group Text Nation was founded for those individuals who believe that text only communication has a certain quality that enhances the SL experience, and that the introduction of speech would sully rather than enhance their immersion in world.
