Hope this is in the right place: If you have a service that might be used by a RL business doing business in SL- and would like to have a booth at our expo drop me a note in world.
Please note- we are not developing store fronts for RL business advertising- our clients are using SL for meeting- training- workshops- collaborations and more.
depo Consulting, a registered full-service developer in Second Life, will be hosting their first annual "Virtual Business Services & Products Expo" at the depo Business Park on October 19, 2007.
The depo Business Park is a rapidly growing 7- SIM complex featuring planning and building design by Bennet Dynamo, depo's chief architect, and is home to several real world business firms including the UK legal firm of Field Fisher Waterhouse; Market Truths, the New Zealand based market research company; Pure, the carbon offset Trust; Codexx, the business innovation consultancy; and Jefferson Salt, one the interim executive industry's most advanced interim executive management providers.
In addition to building environments in the SL Metaverse where businesses can show a presence before an international audience of consumers, depo consulting is committed to helping "Real World" businesses develop strategies for success on the new frontier of actually "doing business" in the virtual world.
This year's theme for the "2007 Virtual Business Services & Products Expo" is "Beyond Storefronts- Harnessing the Business Potential of Virtual Worlds"
Expo attendees from around the world representing a variety of real life businesses will participate in conferences and have the opportunity to meet with Second Life developers, scripting specialists, animation artists, business product merchants and more from the Second Life community, as they explore the possibilities for their businesses in the Second Life Metaverse.
This year, vendor space at the expo is being provided free of charge thanks to the generous sponsorship of depo consulting and its affiliates.
If you have a product or service that real life businesses need when entering or doing business in Second Life and would like the opportunity to showcase your talent or products, conduct a seminar, or give a presentation on a successful project, contact Lucinda Bergbahn "in world" via note card with your name, service or product and the best time to contact you. Space will be limited and distributed on a first-come-first-served basis, so hurry! The deadline for vendor sign up is September 17, 2007.
