Hello all, I am not sure if this is a position that is much needed in SL but I will give it a go!
I know that some people in SL have been looking to start a website, it may be for the realestate company, club, clothing store (or any kind of store for that matter) or anything else they can think of. I know that many people who wish to do this will end up spending hours trying to find a place to host their website, get a domain name, and set up their website and add content to it.
I can also help people out with setting up data storage on a server....
What I am offering is this, I will sit down with someone, find out what kind of website they want, what name they wish to have for such a website, and the such. I would go out get them there domain name (Http://www.*yourdomainnamehere*.net(com)(etc)), a place to host the site (companys offer servers that host your site) and then once the clien knows what they want on there website (the content) I can add such content to the website.
I would essentially be doing all of the work needed to get a website up and running.
Again not sure if this anything that can be used in the world of SL, but I figured I would give it a shot.
As I am sure the client is looking for someone who would be able to able to add content to the site at anytime, the pricing for this service would need to be discussed. As I would need the funds from the client to pay for the domain name(most always about $9 USD for a year) and for the cost of the server (which is a monthly cost), plus the cost of my services...again all of this depends on the needs of the client, if they need more storage it is going to cost more as the cost of the server would go up.
