AutoGroup Service
Residents in SL know how valuable a good customer support group, or VIP group can be when building their business. Often in SL, because partners in a business choose to go their separate ways...or because of copyright issues with the group name, a group needs to be changed, abandoned, or turned into two groups so that former partners can still have all of their clients in both groups. This would typically result in having to create a new group (or groups), and then manually inviting all of your existing customers to the new group(s).
This was in the past, an arduous, time-consuming process.
Now there is the AutoGroup Service. AutoGroup is very simple in concept. You provide us with a simple list of names you want invited to your new group, along with an optional notecard you want sent to each of those residents, explaining the move to the new group. No resident keys, no manual invitations, no hours at the keyboard are required. The AutoGroup service is fast, inexpensive and will save you hours or days of repetitious, monotonous labor. The service sends out real SL group invitations, just as a resident would if doing it manually. The AutoGroup Service can be used to invite to any role within a group, and to open or closed enrollment groups. The service can perform thousands of group invitations and/or ejects in mere minutes.
The AutoGroup Service can perform in four basic ways:
1) Basic AutoGroup Service: After you have sent out a group notice to your group members, to advise them of the change, the AutoGroup system sends a real SL group invitation to all members that invites them to your new group. This option leaves them in the existing SL group. This option is best for partners that are dissolving a SL company, yet wish to share their customer base, with one partner retaining control of the existing group. Price is L$3 per name.
2) Enhanced AutoGroup Service: After you have sent out a group notice to your group members, to advise them of the change, the AutoGroup system ejects them from your old group (recommended if you are abandoning your old group entirely), then invites them to your new group. Price is L$4 per name.
3) Premium AutoGroup Service: After you have sent out a group notice to your group members, to advise them of the change, the AutoGroup system sends real SL group invitations to all members that invites them to TWO new groups. You can optionally eject them from the original group. Great for partners that are dissolving a SL company, and want their old customer base in two new groups. Price is L$5.5 per name.
4) NEWGroup AutoGroup Service: Want to grow your NEW group fast, but all you have is months and months worth of log lists from your visitor counter, with hundreds or thousands of names, and no way to automate the process of offering those visitors from the past membership in your current groups? Now that list of names is your ticket to expanding your new group fast and worry-free. AutoGroup can invite them all to your group...just provide us with the list of names. To prevent spamming, we require that you provide us with the name and password of an alt account that will perform the actual invitations for this level of service. We will send out a pre-invitation notecard, and an invitation to your group, using your alt name. Price is L$3.5 per name.
Requirements for the AutoGroup Service: A list of names to be invited. 1000 name minimum charge. Your explanatory pre-invitation notecard to be sent to your group members, if required. Addition of our Invitation alt to your group with rights to invite/eject from the group. For ejections from a group to be provided, service must be contracted by a group owner of the group in which the ejections will be performed. Please be aware that the AutoGroup Service can only invite residents to a group, the service can not guarantee that upon receiving your invitation, that the resident will then join the group.
