Greetings!
We at Magrathean.ca have figured out a full-service way to give people the ability (with verification of course) to export everything that they own from Second Life. Imagine, do you want your avatar to appear in another engine like Quake4? Unreal3? There is no mystery behind OpenGL programming and with the right tool set and enough caffeine a person can do anything I guess.
Of course I could not just say these things without showing any proof, so in compliance with the laws of the internet (pics or it didn't happen):

There is more evidence floating around if your interested in looking for it. I post on this board out of curiosity to what people think of a full export service (not to gloat that we beat IBM or anyone else to it first).
Are you an experienced animator or 3D artist and just would like a archive of your avatar in 3DStudioMax format, MAYA? Or do you actually want to have your model rigged for animation (with bones and rag-doll physics systems) for the Source Engine? Play with your avatar in Gary's Mod perhaps? Or maybe just export your mesh to UT2004 and frag on a LAN game as your Second Life personal self.
Of course there is a fee involved. And we need to make sure that you own the content you want exported from this world. All of this requires contact and the best place to start is with an email to:
info@magrathean.ca
Or visit our website(s), Crystal Studio is our Second Life presence and Magrathean is our incorporated real-world and Crystal Studio operates as a division of (for those that care):

Yes we are completely serious, if the above video is not enough proof within the coming week there will be a demo for download that has many of the game-play elements shown in the video which are easy to implement in a SL style game editor based on .Net and DirectX (OpenGL Spported Too).
The name of the game engine in this video is called NeoAxis, I am just a user of this engine and have nothing to do with it's development other than making custom content for it and exporting others upon request (this video is just proof of concept).
Here is the link for the engine:

Remember to post your comments about what you think about a service like this, what kind of games would you make if you could export your objects as complete textured mesh ready for exporting from your favorite 3rd party application.
Get ready for the demo peoples. This is as real as it gets.
