Hello Second Life...
is already well known to many people around the world, so it's about time we introduce ourselves to the world.
Hello Second Life is a publishing house which releases the HSL magazine in-world and on its homepage.
Founded in february, we became the biggest Second Life magazine within only a couple of months, thanks to the many staff members and people committed to this good purpose.
Making the HSL magazine we use the most outstanding technology, the most innovative method being used in Second Life.
In addition to reading HSL on the internet as a PDF file you can read it in-world. This is possible by using a so called HUD (head up display) you can 'wear', so to say. Optically the HUD works like a real magazine. Main advantage of our HUD system: the contents and with it every new issue updates itself every week.
Both the combined possibilities to read our magazine and the effort the many distributors and helpers put into it are the reason for the great success.
Due to the high demand we will take the next steps with a lot of expansions.
Being published in only two languages in the beginning (German and English), HSL will be published in more languages soon (French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Turkish).
We are coworking with the 9 largest world communities in their own languages and two international charity organisations (SL Aid, World Campus International).
Several new categories will be added, partially exclusively: SceneMaker Studios is our exclusive partner and will publish in our magazine. Furthermore there will be an event calendar and the new HSL tower will find its final place soon.
Radio moderator Joyce Winkler will have her own column in our magazine and every language community will have their own news and info pages.
Therefore the publishing house has decided to release three more magazines.
And there will be technical changes as well. HSL will get a new, innovative HUD system, new displays and a new vendor system.
The main business change will be handing out samples to agencies which will be able to operate efficiently and promptly for companies.
Many new tasks are planned for the weeks to come. We would like to offer support to media companies and representants for every question concerning SL. We help to turn quantity into quality.
We are looking forward to a great cooperation!
