I've been approached via LinkedIn as to whether I was interested in a full sim build for a large commercial client. I supplied information requested and was asked for L$15k fee to get the client's contact details.
Needless to say I haven't paid
I run a legitimate, RL company - virtual-e Ltd - which offers development and consultancy services and I'm SL Dev. As all my transaction go through legitimate channels I've requested an invoice from a verifiable RL company together with the ability to pay in either US$ or £ sterling so that there is an audit trail for my accountant and the Revenue Services. I haven't heard anything back!
If this is a genuine approach from a real company surely they would be keen to do things in a legitimate way?
Be keen to hear if anyone else has had this or similar experience.
