Savoye Arts Centre requires a general manager ASAP. This is a chance to run what could become one of the cultural hot-spots in Second Life. You will be required to:
Book performers for gigs, films for screenings and artists for exhibitions - so your communication skills need to be top-notch!
Promote the centre through your existing network and by making lots of new friends.
Keep the centre looking interesting and tidy - meaning some building and scripting skills will be needed.
Come up with ideas on how to develop the future of the centre and create funding - you will have a lot of creative control!!
In return I (the owner of the land and everything on it) will provide you with funding for your ideas and plans, technical and administrational support, coverage of all fees attracted by the land or any equipment hired etc, and the chance to create something really special in the Art world without dipping into your own pocket!!
I will of course have the final say on most things and have lots of ideas I'd like you to execute but you will be left with lots of creative control. The ideal candidate will:
Be highly socially active in Second Life.
Speak excellent English.
Have great communication skills.
Be able to work on own initiative with creativity.
Have a passion for the Arts and discovering genuine talent for us to showcase.
