Personality Online Study

Dear Second Life Players,

I am conducting research on personality characteristics and online communities. If you are a female over 18 years of age, you may qualify to participate in this study. Participation entails filling out two personality questionnaires, answering questions about your Second Life use and avatar, and e-mailing pictures of your avatar to me. Participating in this study will take approximately 1 hour of your time. Not identifying yourself or your purposes? Not very professional.

Spamming your request to multiple forums? Not good form.

You require pictures and an hour of my time, not to mention an email address (potentially tying my RL identity to my avatar) and yet offer no compensation, not even a few token linden dollars? Not very tempting.

While I've no objection to participating in the occasional survey, I think I'll pass on this one, thanks.
