I am currently developing a submittal to U.S. Army Research and Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM), Simulation & Training Technology Center (STTC) in relation to competition and showcase to encourage the global development community to create innovative and interactive training and analysis solutions in virtual worlds.

We have a open sim built out already for live fire training. We seek the following:

*Weapons and metered combat systems to include vehicles, aircraft, damage enabled builds
*Uniforms, body equipment
*Writers, role players, content creation, character development
*Web, blogging, RSS, flickr, Twitter content creation and management
*Machinma, production/post production
*Event Planning and hosting, Public Relations, Recruiting

We are on a tight budget and even tighter time constraint, only serious inquiries. We are not a SL Militia, Army, Military or role play group.
Seeking VERY mission oriented driven people, prior or current military experience helpful but ANY and all interested parties are welcome.

This does sound rather interesting and I suspect I fit the writer Role Player field. I will have to look more deeply into it.

As interesting as this may (and does) sound, what positions are going to be most forth-coming to us ?

Are we all going to have to be "Foot Soldiers"? or will we get a chance of Divisions; such as a technical side to it.

The Technical side of the Army wins us the war...

Neat Idea but Good luck with it. They will never use SL. there are far better engines capable of much better things XD ..
