SLexy Sheets is now developing its introductory issue. SLexy Sheets is a magazine focused toward men and women who enjoy the mature and erotic aspect of Second Life. SLexy Sheets will be available in PDF format online, as well as HUD access in SL. The SLexy Sheets website, which is in development, will feature a “members only” area with photo galleries, stories, classified ads, and more. During our introductory period, membership will be completely free.
The magazine will feature letters from Second Lifers and their sexual or erotic encounters; short roleplay stories will be included, as well as other goodies to entertain, arouse, and amuse. The magazine will include topics that cover a variety of interests. Magazine subscription is, and will continue to be, free.
The website is scheduled for launch by 8/15/2007. The first magazine will be released the first week of September.
SLexy Sheets is looking for the following:
1. Advertisers. The introductory issue offers complimentary ad space. Because this is complimentary, there are no design services available. You will need to submit your ad print ready. Sizes available range from 1/8 page (850 x 550), 1/4 (850 x 1100) to half page (850 x 2200 or 1700 x 1100). Advertisements are accepted on a first come first serve basis and are selected at the discretion of the owners. Erotic, mature, and sexual advertisements are encouraged, those of artistic intent, tasteful design preferred.
Classifieds: We are also accepting classifieds for individuals seeking other individuals, service providers, etc. All classified placements in the introductory issue are complimentary. They are accepted on a FCFS basis and are selected at the discretion of the owners.
2. Adventures from Second Lifers. Have a short story you want to share? A poem? Photographs? How about an erotic encounter you experienced… if thinking about it makes you warm and fuzzy, type it up and send it our way. Featured submissions will receive payment (range of payment TBD).
3. Cartoonist, advice columnist, creative writer, club/event reviewer. SLexy Sheets is looking for a cartoonist and writers that would be interested in a job with the magazine. Payment for work would be negotiated as a flat rate per month of submissions or a percentage of profits above operating expenses.
