I own a small club, Antares: The Lounge. It is a no-sleaze venue that is focused on good clean fun: good music, good people, good times. It has 15-16 partner dance balls that don't get enough usage. I am sole owner, and maintain Antares as a labor of love. It is not a huge club/mall. It exists, quite candidly, because I love it and there aren't enough spaces like it in SL. There are a few events on the various days of the week, but staffing is a challenge.

Antares is a deliberately chilled out venue. Its musical focus is Adult Contemporary, Jazz, easy listening stuff. We enjoy ambient electronica music too. Nothing harder than, say, Matchbox Twenty or U2.

That said, I would like to give it greater use as a venue for live music. It is well suited for it, and there is plenty to do to keep people entertained.

If you enjoy playing any of the above-stated genres of music, and are looking for new places to play, and it won't cost me an arm and a leg to book you, please check out the lounge and contact me if you'd be interested in booking some events there.

Thanks for listening.
