Skin Job is a 6-week old sci-fi based club which is driven by DJs who are real music fans and who know their genres. You can expect industrial, ebm, goth, electro, electroclash, gabber, psytrance, hardstyle, indie, etc. and you can also expect the occasional off-genre party like swing, glam, funk, punk and the like.

What we want: We are looking for 2 dancers to compliment our current dancer line-up. Our dancers may strip (it's flexible), but this isn't a strip club. Most important is the ability to carry on entertaining conversation that doesn't dwell around how hot you are in those clothes. Having said that, this is a visual medium and so we ask that you have purchased or created a high quality skin and shape and wear suitable prim hair.
We are especially interested in androids, sexy robots, pretty mannequins, etc. but stylin' humans are absolutely welcome. A great sense of humour is paramount. We laugh a lot here. We have Sine Wave dance poles, but most of our dancers use freestanding dances or their chims.

What we don't want: those who rely on gestures instead of communication, talking body parts or excessive bling.

This isn't a club containing the usual sploders, dance pads, laggy scripts, etc. We don't have hosts and we don't have contest boards. It's driven by the music and the chat. People that "hate clubs" come here and we'd like to keep it a place that they like. We do pay an hourly and you get 80% of your tips.

The owners are Damon Dollinger (UK based) and Siryn Rosse (US based). The owners both have (often surreal) senses of humour, eat meat, rant a lot and can handle their drink. It's like working for Bill Hicks and the Earl of Rochester, but which is which varies daily. HOWEVER, be advised that we absolutely will not tolerate homophobia or racism.

Is this your kind of place?

To apply, visit Skin Job ( http://slurl.com/secondlife/Crocus%20Island/250/174/397 ), pick up an application from the sign in the front of the club.
READ IT CAREFULLY, fill it in and drop it onto the picture mailbox belonging to:
SMITH BRACKEN.

DO NOT PUT DANCER APPLICATIONS IN ANYONE ELSE'S MAILBOXES. It makes us cranky.
