I didnt think you were allowed to "sell " accounts" and I do wonder what research you are doing that needs them

Hello, Educa, welcome to the forums. A little warning: Linden Lab does not permit people to sell or transfer accounts except with LL's permission. See this excerpt from SL's "Terms of Service" (http://secondlife.com/corporate/tos.php)

You may not transfer your Account to any third party without the prior written consent of Linden Lab; notwithstanding the foregoing, Linden Lab will not unreasonably withhold consent to the transfer of an Account in good standing by operation of valid written will to a single natural person, provided that proper notice and documentation are delivered as requested by Linden Lab.
Of course, LL will not track you down and prosecute or anything. However, they do have the right to simply delete all your accounts if you violate their TOS. You may wish to contact them upfront about your research, or simply not advertise what you intend to do here on their forums.
