I'm in SL to begin a sewing group -an SL counterpart to my regular web forum, the Stitcher's Guild.
I rented a building, found an advertiser, met a few people who could probably teach classes and such, and am moving forward. But, I need a few things, and haven't had time to learn to build or make them. At this point, I'd rather hire someone who can do it right, rather than jump in and do it half-a**'d myself.

First, I need someone to design a t-shirt for me. I'll be giving them away for free, so just a generic-type t-shirt, preferably tintable. I have a .psd document with the main part of the graphic I want, and will provide it to the designer. If you can make a nice t-shirt, please either post here, or IM me in-world with a quote.
Second... a big request. It may not be possible, but it sure would be nice. I purchased a mannequin on SL Exchange, thinking it would work, but sadly, it won't.
I want a mannquin that can be shaped to match one's RL body. It doesn't need to be a whole body -it doesn't need ears, or fingers or toes- although those things would be nice. I realize we have to keep prim #s down, so some things can be fudged where needed -knees probably don't need to bend, etc. But it should be modifiable with RL measurements so as to provide a realistic look at one's body from all angles. Then, it should be able to model SL clothing styles.
You see, in sewing there's a basic problem that's hard to overcome. It's hard to imagine how a finished item will really look on one's self, without making a sample. The pattern companies use fashion illustrations of people with long, unrealistic bodies and unreal proportions to show off clothing details. But a person with a different body type can buy the pattern and make up a sample only to find it doesn't work for them at all.

I'd like my SL group to have use of an animated croquis -try out a style on the manniquin, without editing one's own appearance, and be able to take a long, objective look at it to see if it would work in RL. If they could buy a wild dress in SL, model it on a realistically-sized mannequin, and take a long look at it, they could make better choices about patterns to buy, fabrics to try, etc.
I can afford to pay quite a bit for this, as I will rent out the use of it to recoup my investment. Any scripts that come with it need to be transferable to the person who is renting it, but the mannequin itself should stay with me. Also I think I need to be able to make a back-up copy as needed, in case someone messes it up completely.

If such a thing is possible & practical, and you're willing to take on the challenge, would you please contact me?
