The top two pixelated visions of perfection (one male, one female) will be asked to model for both artwork and corporate advertisements. In exchange, they will receive 1,000 L$ each in prize money and a complete, professional modeling portfolio worth over 2,000 L$ to help advance them along in their virtual career.
The rules are simple:
- Applicants must have been in-world for over 6 months;
- Only top quality skins, hair and other attributes will be considered (in other words, you have to have put a good amount of work and consideration into your avatar's overall appearance);
- Non-humans and nekos are welcome to apply;
- Winners will be asked to sign a waiver stating that all captures taken of their avatar will remain the sole property of Capture Studios & Gallery, though copies of the final artwork will be offered to each model.
If you think your avatar has what it takes, please drop a self-named folder with one full body, one facial close-up and one profile shot (all 512 x 512 pixels or less) in-world to Phedre Dumouriez.
This contest runs from today, January 14th until midnight, February 6th.
Winners will be contacted on February 2nd and photo shoots will be schedule soon after.
NOTE: It would be preferable if the photos were edited as little as possible, so that the true state of the avatar could show through. That also makes it fair for all participants - some of which may not have the same post-processing skills as others.
Of course, I would like to meet the finalists in-world before making a final decision, so I'll know if any major editing was done
