By transgendered do you mean those portraying the opposite sex in SL that they are in RL? How do you verify that they are transgendered or does it really matter if they REALLY are?

From: Lestat Foden I think I pointed it out pretty clear when I said "models must be transgendered IN SECOND LIFE" Oh ok fantasy transgendered...I wonder about that myself but I figured you're gearing things to male to female's. I seriously thought about this because I am transgendered in rl, here I am a just small elf guy. Thanks.

transgendered in SL, doesn't really explain a lot
I could "say" I am a man in SL, but became a women
or am I thinking incorrectly about what transgendered is...
could you please explain for those of us who are not so worldly (seriously)
Thanks

From: Lestat Foden I think I pointed it out pretty clear when I said "models must be transgendered IN SECOND LIFE" OK then I shall rephrase the question. How does one become transgendered solely in Second Life? Well looking at the Wiki I see the definition. It also helps to find a definition when in doubt I guess: From: someone "Of, relating to, or designating a person whose identity does not conform unambiguously to conventional notions of male or female gender, but combines or moves between these."[1]
"People who were assigned a gender, usually at birth and based on their genitals, but who feel that this is a false or incomplete description of themselves."[2]
"Non-identification with, or non-presentation as, the gender one was assigned at birth."[3] So I guess what folks want to know since you say transgendered in "SECOND LIFE", is how that is possible. I thought my question may have been correct, but I was wrong when I said, From: someone By transgendered do you mean those portraying the opposite sex in SL that they are in RL? ...because you corrected me and said in SECOND LIFE. So how does that work? Are you a male avatar in SL and wear a dress or a female avatar that wear men's suits? Is it when you start off choosing a female avatar and act like a male one or dress like one and vice versa? Perhaps a simple explanation will help those of us who just wanted to understand. There may be people reading who could submit an application who may not know what this means and posess the right credentials. That's all I wanted was to understand. I was just curious. Hugs, Maddy

Okay let me try to make this clear in black and white terms. Most transexuals in SL are female avatars that wear a penis. Some of them are RL transexuals, some have RL transexual tendencies but aren't RL transexuals. Some of them just play a transexual in SL and are normal in RL.
Personally I don't care which one of these you are. Just as long as you are a transexual in second life.
