Please read over the job descriptions below and contact Bonnie Breyer at Job Monster if you would like to be considered.
ADMINISTRATOR
+++++++++++
Hours: Administratiors will basically be on call, but only to the owners of the Center. Confirmation of follow-ups completed, appointments verified, documents reviewed will be expected daily. Confirmation from our builder that the baby order for the week has been received will be expected, and this should be done on a specific day. Additionally, you will have a pager at the clinic. You will be the first line of contact for clients when no one is staffing the clinic. Your job will not be to handle them yourself, but to direct them to the appropriate staff member.
Pay Rate: 200L a week during training, 500L a week once the two week trial period is complete.
Duties:
--> Follow-Up: We are a very client focused clinic. We follow-up with the list of visitors who have visited to make sure they were helped and see if we can do anything more for them. We follow-up with past clients to ask them to do a short survey, to make sure everything went as they expected it to and to see if we can get information that will help us improve our service. These follow-ups would be your responsibility. Visitor follow-up will be done on a daily basis, and you will be asked to verify that the visitor is not a client before contacting them. Client Follow-up will be done on
--> Verify Scheduled Appointments: At least once a week, before the midwives meet to assign themselves to appointments, go through all of the orders for that week. Make sure the appointments are entered into the google calendar properly. If they are not put into the calendar, enter them in. If they are there and not in correct format, correct them. If the same employee is repeatedly messing them up, notify the assistant managers.
--> Review Client Orders: At least once a week, review new client orders for accuracy. Make sure that all information has been collected, and that there are no outstanding amounts due from the client. If information is missing, contact the client, update the notecard, and send an updated notecard to the group. Make sure client files are properly named, dates are in the proper format, erroneous information is removed. If amounts are due, contact the client, have them pay the register in the clinic, get verification from the owner that it has been paid, mark it paid on the order form and send an updated form to the group.
--> Point of Contact: You will have a pager at the clinic. When you are online, people will page you. The idea is that they page you when no one is there, but sometimes they will page you regardless of whether or not there is someone there. You will greet them via IM warmly, kindly, professionally. You will identify what they need. If the question is simple and you know the answer, you may provide it. Otherwise, you will determine who can answer the question and ask the client to IM them directly. If the client seems confused, you may IM the employee and ask them to IM the client directly. If no one else is available and you don't know the answer or can't provide the service, please IM the client and she will take care of it.
--> Assist owner as needed. This may mean business planning discussions. It may mean contacting vendors. It may mean sending announcements, making event listings, renewing advertising. It may mean approaching creators in game and inviting them to submit information to give to clients. It may mean interviewing photographers, or talking to potential business partners. It may mean assisting in planning an employee bonding event. If you are unable to help, help find someone else to assist.
ASSISTANT MANAGERS
+++++++++++++++
Hours: Each Assistant Manager will be responsible for covering a half day shift at the clinic, 5-6 days a week. While you will be not be required to be there the entire time, you will be asked to check in multiple times, to cover positions as needed, and to be on call if an employee or guest needs assistance. Additionally, you will be on call at all times for questions or requests for assistance from the owner. These will be rare, and will seldom be immediate needs.
Pay Rate: 700L a week for the first 30 days, the trial period during which you decide if you like us, and we decide if you will work well with our team. Duties:

If they are not, find out why. If there is an ongoing attendance problem, work with the employee to resolve it. If it cannot be resolved, inform the owner. Make sure that employees are satisifed, motivated to continue working, enjoying their interaction with clients and are in a good position for them.
--> Scheduling: Work with midwives one week ahead of schedule to assign a midwife to each appointment and delivery. There should be one midwife per delivery, and one back up midwife. There should be one midwife per clinical/ultrasound/combo appointment. And there should be two midwives on call for emergency appointments each day of the week. Make sure midwife assignments are listed in the google calendar. As new appointments are added to an already scheduled week, make sure they get assigned for coverage.
--> Position Coverage: During your shift, if an employee must miss their shift either announced or unannounced, make sure that it is covered by another employee, or cover it yourself as needed. Be the first line of communication for employees with issues, and help them to resolve.
--> Ensure Client Satisfaction: Periodically throughout the day, touch base with clients. Either ones you got notification of arriving, ones you happen to see at the clinic browsing while you are there, ones an employee asks you to touch base with, or ones you know have just come from an appointment. Verify that they are finding everything, and that the staff was professional, friendly and helpful. If there were issues, resolve them as necessary so that the client leaves with a good taste in their mouth, and with positive memories of the company.

CONSULTANT EXPERTS
+++++++++++++++
Hours: Consultation Experts will be expected to work a continuous four hour shift, four to five days a week. This is not a camping position. They must be IN the clinic and not AFK during these hours, available to greet clients, answer questions and assist where needed, and turn visitors into closed pregnancy packages.
Pay Rate: 300L a week for the first week trial period. During this time, we will teach you the ins and outs of the position, and you can verify that you like the position while we verify that you will fit with our team. After this trial period, you will make 300L a week, plus 50L per package that you sell that is under 2,000L total, and 75L per package that you sell that is over 2,000L total. If you sell 10 2,500L packages in a week, for example, you will make $1,050L that week.
Duties:
--> Set The Mood: As the face of our clinic, it is your job to remain professional, friendly, warm, welcoming and pleasant whenever you are on the clock in the clinic. We welcome our clients into our clinic as family. We do not simply greet them, we are encouraging and inviting. That tone is set by you, in the initial moments of their visit.
--> Greet Visitors: Greet each individual visitor as they arrive at the clinic. They may be more than one consultant working at a time, and you may work together to arrange how to greet. You greeting should consist of something like, "Good afternoon and welcome to *client's name*, Visitors1stName! Please let me know if I can be of assistance!

--> Answer Questions, Direct To Vendors: Many of our clients are first time parents, new to SL, and new to the idea of pregnancy and parenthood in SL. It is your job to answer questions patiently and kindly. You will need to be well versed in how pregnancy works in SL. If there are questions you cannot answer, you should contact your assistant manager for your shift and ask them to come in to assist. The goal is to make people feel warm, welcomed, assisted so that they will want to purchase. Packages, clothing, tummy - anyything and everything - without making them feel like their getting a sales pitch.
--> Take Orders via Consultation: We do not have an order form that mom and dad fill out and drop in a box. Our packages are completely ala carte, meaning mom and dad can choose what they want and afford from a number of options. The consultation expert will take that initial, on the spot, consult with them. You will sit with them, make them feel excited and happy about their choice to have a baby, and using our order form, walk them through all of the decisions they need to make. If special modifications to the baby are needed, you will contact our client to come in and make an estimate on the modification cost. Using our Google calendar, you will schedule any clinical appointments the birth date and time. You will ask for payment through the cash register on the desk, NEVER directly. You will send a notice to our SD Employee Group with the new notecard order attached. You will invite mom and dad into our main group with the appropriate role, and give each of them a SD Teeshirt.
--> Greet Clients: As clients arrive for appointments, you will greet them and ask them to have a seat. You will IM the midwife assigned to their appointment to let her know her clients have arrived, if she is not already there. If she is not online, you will IM the backup midwife and your Assistant Manager immediately.
MIDWIVES
+++++++
Hours: Midwives will be called together once a week to pick and choose which clinicals and deliveries they wish to take for the week. They will also be able to choose "on call" times, when they will assist any emergency delivery or unscheduled appointment clients who come in, as well as covering if the midwife assigned to an appointment does not show up. As a midwife, you choose your own schedule, however it is CRITICAL that you be at the appointments you sign up for. One missed appointment will be overlooked. Two will get you warned. Three will lead to termination.
Pay Rate: $200 a week, plus pay per service as listed:
Scheduled Delivery: 100L
Back-up for Scheduled Delivery: 50L
Clinical/Sonogram: 30L
Combo Appointment: 50L
Emergency Delivery: 250L
Emergency Delivery Backup: 150L
Unscheduled Appointment: 75L
Duties:
--> Set The Mood: As heart and soul of the clinic, it is your job to remain professional, friendly, warm, welcoming and pleasant whenever you are on the clock in the clinic. Our clients are to be treated as family. We are encouraging, motivating, accomodating...whatever they need to make their experience special is what we will provide.
--> Perform Clinical Exams, Ultrasound and Combination Appointments: These are prenatal care appointments. A clinical is a physical exam of the mother, making sure that all is well. The ultrasound is a simple ultrasound, checking heart rate and providing a picture of baby to mom. A combination appointment is a combination of these two, consisting of a physical exam, ultrasound and picture. All of the equipment and templates for these exams will be provided, however you will be expected to provide strong, realistic roleplay based on the experience desires indicated in the client notecard (otherwise known as the client file).
--> Perform Births: Using the client file and the equipment provided, you will provide the client with a top notch birth experience. You will give the mother tips on roleplaying labor in IM. You will walk her through breathing and laboring in various stages. You will guide dad to support her as well, and do your best to include any guests that are present in the moment. You will physically move a newborn baby out of the mom, catch it, clean it up, hear it's first cry. If the mother has ordered her baby from us, you will be responsible for making sure you have the baby file including baby, gifts, and paperwork (services notecard, order notecard, birth certificate (which you will make) and any photos requested).
--> Assist With Births: We prefer to have two midwives at every birth - one to actually perform the birth, and one to coach and take pictures as necessary. As a backup midwife, your job is to attend the birth, offer encouraging, comforting statements, countdown during the pushing stage if dad doesn't seem to get it, entertain guests, and take pictures during the labor as required by the client order form. Please make sure you get funds from our client BEFORE THE BIRTH for any photos that have been ordered.
