VGC: Virtual Government Community
My Vision: To have a virtual grid that is run with rules and the citizens making the decisions. To have a set of guidelines that staff will have to follow. To run the grid like a community rather then a company. The sims should also be able to be used for education in virtual worlds as well as conference areas. We will have themed sims that residents can will vote on. We will have certain sims just for residential areas and sims for commercial use.
Info: This will be a lot of work and there are people out there that say it can not be done. People say that the elections will be rigged and that the board will be making money. We should prove tem wrong in all aspects and make this into the next biggest thing. We can prevail.
The Plan:
To start with one “Sim” and work our way bigger. We will have our own currency and marketplace where citizens can sell their creations. People will be protected against copy-bots and will not have to worry about people stealing there ideas. The government will be in charge of making sure the people are protected and have a fair and just rules that all can agree on.
There will be elections where people will elect who will run there sim and government offices. The people that they elect will develop vote and decide on rules and regulations that will be passed. They will be in charge of making sure that the people get what they want.
A system of roads, and other infrastructure will be up to the government to design and build. Buildings will be owned by the government and will be rented out to make money to support the government. The government will be based of the United States of America, Great Britain and France.

Department of Finance
Department of Public works
Department of Security (server, viewer, and in-world)
Department of Social Affiars
Department of Software design
(these are all up to discussion and can all be changed just ideas.)
Phases:
1. Looking for a board of directors to develop rules, regulations, departments will be made. The Board of directors will develop the government from scratch as well. The board will determine what servers, software development as well as viewer development. The board will also decide upon other phases.
This is a extensive project that is going to be a long term and will require a lot of work. You will gain recognition but will have to pt a lot of work into this.
