There an avatar named Sue Beaumont that I don't think has or ever will log in to their account.

There's a person with the real life name Sue Beaumont that would like to use the avatar name Sue Beaumont.

Does anyone know how to contact the owner of the account Sue Beaumont?

The real life Sue Beaumont has of course sent IMs to the Sue Beaumont avatar.

As should be obvious, an IM won't reach them inworld in they never log in.

IM's don't necessarily get forwarded to an email address.

The email adresses people provide aren't necessarily valid.

Anyone know the human that created the Sue Beaumont account?

The name was supposedly used on the account creation page in February, according to the support staff.

The real life Sue Beaumont attempted to create an account with that name ion March 15th.

The name showed as available at the start of the process.

Something went wrong and by the time the account creation process was done the account creation page said the name was already in use.

There was no Sue Beaumont in the inworld people search at that time.

Real life Sue Beaumont contacted support and support caused an inworld Sue Beaumont avatar to be created - but not for the real life Sue Beaumont, for the account partially created in February, the creator of which had not completed the steps to create an inworld account named Sue Beaumont.

So there's an account named Sue Beaumont that I think is not ever going to be used by anyone - I don't know that, I just think that.

And there's a person with the real name Sue Beaumont that wants to have an avatar with their real life name.

If it can be determined that the person with the Sue Beaumont account has never and will never use the account then maybe the Linden staff would free up that name for use by the real life Sue Beaumont.

unfortunately i dont think LL will do that, which is annoying.
Its because as sl is linked to real money any of the money in that account is theres and any of the inventory is there's. They probably are inactive (as something like 60% of accounts are but dont quote me on that).

Thats just what i have heard but i wish you luck :D

Who tried to sign up in February as Sue Beaumont?
04-08-2007 16:15
Someone tried to sign up as Sue Beaumont in Februarly. They didn't succeed, apparently. They may have given up on the name and picked a new one, or given up on SL altogether.

If anyone knows this person please have them contact me inworld or send me a forum pm or send me email or post a message for me at forums.sluniverse.com .

So couldn't the NEW Sue try to tweak her first name to get the account?

Couldn't the NEW Sue try to tweak her name to get the account? Like say:
~ Sue ~

Or... The Original Sue

or Susanne

or what ever?

Could it be that in the process of registering the account, the real Sue Beaumont selected that name and triggered it as 'used' herself, without actually completing the process? I know something similar happened to me when setting up an alt - don't remember precisely what I did wrong, quite possibly hit the back button or something like that, but I lost my awesome name because SL decided it had been 'made' already.

As LL keeps closed or suspended accounts free for the former user for 90 days it may goes quicker for Real Sue to go to her nearest Townhall/register and change her Real name so she can log on as "blablaformerknownassue Beaumont", would that help?

sorry couldnt resist,lol
